I was always a creative person.
In school you could find me in the art classroom any chance I got.
It interested me to explore art in every way possible and see how I could create with my own hands.
I had an online journal. I discovered how to change the way my page looked and taught myself HTML.
I didn't know what it was called but I thought whoever has the job of altering the code was insanely cool. I didn't know what the job was at the time but I wanted that for myself.
The journey to web development has been full of challenges, but extremely rewarding.
I am celebrated for the way I think, I am encouraged to work within a team, and that gives me personal satisfaction. I embrace the web development community, the continuous process of building my knowledge, and the process of building things that fit the needs of people today as well as the future.
Web development is my passion but I also enjoy using my creative skills through digital media.

As a junior web developer I think it's important to give back and grow. Involving myself in the community and teaching strengths within my skill set. I also believe mentoring is an excellent way to engage kids in techonology.
